On November 8, the devastating Typhoon Haiyan (or Yolanda, as it is known locally) devastated parts of the Philippines. Its impact has been devastating: more than 3,900 dead , more than 4.4 million displaced , more than 18,000 injured and 1,600 missing , 2.5 million people are in urgent need of food , 5.4 million children have been affected and more than 1.5 million children under 5 are at risk of acute malnutrition , more than 1 million homes have been damaged or collapsed .

Faced with this situation, 6 NGOs ( Action Against Hunger , Spanish Red Cross , Doctors of the World , Oxfam Intermón , Plan International and Unicef ) that have been working in the area for years have joined forces to make an urgent request for help with the support of RTVE in their broadcasting and the collaboration of Altiria by providing its SMS platform for receiving donations.Other forms of collaboration
